About El Madroñal
El Madroñal covers the wooded hillside that climbs from San Pedro de Alcántara towards Ronda, already within the municipality of Benahavís. The coast is little more than ten minutes down the hill. San Pedro de Alcántara — supermarkets, market, pharmacies, the boulevard and the seafront promenade — is roughly 10 minutes by car; Puerto Banús about 15; central Marbella about 20. Málaga airport is around 50 minutes along the AP-7, Gibraltar a little over an hour.
